Blue Suede Shoes at the Nancy Victor

Yo, folks! It's been crazy hectic with work lately, hence the lack of updates. Back into the saddle now, hopefully with more frequent tidbits.

London's charming Nancy Victor gallery in Fitzrovia is currently housing the second installment of our Gumbo 'Blue Suede Shoes' exhibition. The show is on until October 21st, with opening hours from 10am - 6pm, except  Sundays. Limited edition giclee prints for sale!

Blue Suede Shoes

The Blue Suede Shoes private view was fab, and had a great time preparing the exhibition with the rest of the Gumbo Collective. Here are my pieces from the exhibition, Blue Dinosaur Escapes and Horse Loves Painting. Plus, a few shots from opening night.

Blue themed Book and Exhibition

Another exhibition coming up. Along with the rest of the Gumbo Illustration Collective, I've got some new pieces going up on the walls at the Arts Depot in North Finchley, London, from March 4th till May 1st 2011. The theme is based on a wordplay that takes Blue Suede Shoes through Blue Suede Dinosaur to a series of unexpected twists and turns. A limited edition blue-themed book produced in collaboration with the great Duke Press (featuring a screen printed cover) will also be available. Private View: March 3rd from 6.00-8.30 pm. Don't miss out! (cover and doodles by Gumbo)

London Exhibition

I was recently asked to take part in an FCA retrospective exhibition at the Illustration Cupboard in central London. Opening night was fab, with some fine folks and drinks to boot. The exhibition is on till the 12th of February, so if you're in the area, go have a gander. Better photos from the Private View over at Chris Andrews' blog.
