Popped round for a breather at a coffee bar in Oslo and saw the ol' drawings I did quite a few years back still up on the walls. Fun to see that they've lasted this long. The main piece portrays tags and cafés in Thorvald Meyer's street (the street outside) that are already history.
«Påfyll» (top-up) is coincidentally one of the cosiest coffee shops in town, and the hot beverages are excellent indeed. So if you're at Grünerløkka or nearby in the freezing cold, why not stop by?
Here's this year's christmas card. Turned out a little different than what I initially had imagined, but that's ok. Inspired by Max Fleischer's ol' Superman cartoons for this one, though it perhaps doesn't look it.
Just received boxes and boxes of books and merchandise for NRK's (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) forthcoming christmas calendar. It's a strange sensation to see the drawings you made in your tiny cave on display in almost every shop you walk into. Too bad the hats only come in kid-sizes, as I could need something woolly on the ears come January.
Finally managed to allocate a couple of hours for the Jamaica Street Open Studios Book image. The result isn't exactly stellar, but hopefully better than a bag of dirt. Ah well, can't always have ones 'druthers.
